i don’t live in a condo/apartment building but i would NEVER park my bike in any building “parking area”. what right does management have to tell me what i can store in my rented/leased space? if they threaten eviction, i would want in writing from management i would be reimbursed for my losses thru the building’s insurance before using parking area. and your point about security cameras, really meaningless deterrents. so if they allow you to view footage, what do you see? some dude in a hoodie taking your bike. that’s not going to get your bike back and 99.9% of the time isn’t leading to arrest. as a bike owner, your #1 job in keeping your bike in your possession is to keep a thieves hands from touching your bike cuz once they get their hands on it the likelihood of your bike getting stolen is very high. keep your high end bikes in your house/apt not in your garage/patio/backyard. and bikeindex is a good idea, i’m registered; but really the point is to keep the thieves from getting your bike in the first place cuz once it’s stolen the likelihood of you ever seeing your bike again is very low.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions on this topic! My bike was locked and they stole the pedals anyway, the security must be maximum! :+1:
